Another wonderful New Years in the North Woods! We had a wonderful time snow shoeing on many different trails, cross-country skiing, and relaxing by the fire. Lake Rest Cabins is our "home away from home." We are looking forward to our next visit. Thank you Ken and Linda!...Kendall and Ben

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Our son, Jack, caught 165 fish (bass, perch, sunfish, and bluegill). Needless to say-the best time of his life (he's 6). We have never been more relaxed. We don't want to leave! We'll see you next year..... Steve, Staci & Jack

Wow! This week was a lot of fun. We went fishing , swam (it was beautiful weather) and had many bonfires. My dad even caught a Musky! Thank you so much for letting us stay in your cabin again. Hop to see you on New Years!.... Amy, Andy, Eric & Sara

Our 4th year here and we enjoyed the accommodations. Weather wise the first weeks was great, but the second week we had one nice day and rain, wind, and a power outage. We still had a great time eating, drinking, and playing cards. We will be back to enjoy both cabins next year.....Sue and family

Ken and Linda, we sure do always have a great time fishing, biking, golfing, and relaxing. This wee started out at 59 degrees and ended at 85 degrees-only in Wisconsin! Looking forward to next year...Kathy, Bob, Brian & Joe

Another great vacation! We were lucky to be joined by friends and family. We hiked, biked, rafted, fished, golfed, and left some cash at the casino. Everything was wonderful!! Thanks Ken and Linda and of course Baron!... Mary, Greg & Dan

Weather was cold again. I think we need to pick a new week. Campfires and foosball were fun. They guys caught two Musky-42" and 32". Also caught Northern and Bass. See you next year....Jesse, Laura, Zoey, Brian, Amanda & Bam

Today we arrived. AWESOME! Very excited! Your cabin is beautiful! We visited our normal spots. We are already looking for lots for sale. We were bummed we were not able to watch the CUBS! We fished, caught lots and lots of bluegill. By far this is a kids paradise! I found CUBS on TV-OMG! They won 3-2 back up one game over the Brewers!!! We enjoyed the fireplace. We did the loop. First went to Presque Isle then back down Hwy. 45 through Eagle River and St. Germain. We enjoyed the scenery and took a nice drive up to Porcupine Mountain Lake of the clouds. Just amazing and the beauty by far was one of the best we have seen! Thank you for the opportunity. We will be back!....Mary & Tom

This long weekend was as load of fun! The first couple days it was CHILLY, but towards the end of the weekend the weather was beautiful. The weather was the nicest on Saturday when we went to Pumpkin Fest in Three Lakes. I have to say though, the highlight of our weekend was the highly competitive game on Monopoly played by my mom, brother, and me. Of course I won!! First week of January 2007 caught a 28" Walleye. Was in the newspaper and having it mounted! Caught down in our bay. Temperatures in upper 30's....Ken and Zac

Great place. Cabin is so nice. All the amenities! So quiet. Weather perfect. Enjoyed the view of the lake from the bedroom and eating on the deck. Nice to be close to Minocqua too. Thank you. You are very welcoming....Barbara & Frank

What a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the view! Our nephew, his wife and their 6 yr. old son are staying in the other cabin-so nice! Jack has caught almost 100 fish off the dock already and it's only Monday! Well it's Saturday and now we are packing up. We don't want to leave. Caught lots of Blue gill off the pier. Jack now wants to be a pro fisherman! Ken and Linda are fantastic. We thank you so much! Baron protected us all week long. Bye for now, but we will see you next summer......Mike & Sandy

I am glad we returned! We had one more boat trip at sunset the last night. The weather was great-even the cool weather was nice after the heat. Your place is great. We can't think of anything we needed and didn't have.....Mike & Sharon

We joined my parents for a long visit. It was our first time here. We did everything from relaxing on the dock to searching the north roads for waterfalls. The two falls we did find were fun to explore were the Lake of the Falls and Gile Falls. Other explorations on our trip included mini golf, shopping in Minocqua, and many boat trips on the lake. The best part was having our dog with us. She learned to swim on this trip and made a new friend-Baron! Thanks so much for great week!!.....Brett, Summer & Mercedes

Thank you for your hospitality for the past week. It was a very relaxing vacation. We loved fishing in the lake and catching the toads and frogs, especially us girls! It was very helpful to have all the kitchen supplies here. Thank you. We enjoyed traveling to Copper Falls and would definitely visit again. Baron is very friendly. What a beautiful place you have! The smell of the trees and water are very intoxicating of themselves. We enjoyed the rain falling...It sounds so different coming down through the needles and leaves. Glad you got some, it is really dry. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality and equipping the cabin so nicely. I cook a lot and had what I needed to accomplish the job! Your welcoming committee of Baron and Charley put some joy in our days. We didn't miss our boys at home quite as much. We hope to be back next year.....Lynn & Sheri

Well Ken and Linda, it's all your fault! We loved it up here so much we bought a house and 40 acres of land in Ogema, Wisconsin. Thanks! Baron and King didn't get along, but it sure wasn't Baron's fault. He tried to be friends with King, but King wasn't having it. He's 18 months old and thinks he's king of the forest. Baron is so sweet. He's a star up here and greets everyone. You did a great job making us feel right at home. The views are breathtaking. So much so we will be moving up as soon s our house sells in Illinois. You talked to us on the phone about us coming up for a few days! Look what you did now- we're moving up here shortly.
