
What do I need to bring?
All you need to bring are the following items:
beach towels, groceries, charcoal, and personal gear such as life jackets.
Other suggested items to bring include recreational gear such as
aqua sox, bikes, fishing poles and bait.
Is there anywhere to park my boat?
There is a public boat landing nearby for your convenience.
Boats may be tied up to the private docks provided. Boat trailer
parking is available on Lake Rest Cabin's property.
Can I bring my pet?
Pets need pre-approval and an extra pet fee will be
charged. The pet fee rate is $20 per night and $100 per week. There is
a two pet maximum. Please respect the furniture and keep pets off.
Also, please clean up after your pets.
Is smoking allowed?
Absolutely no smoking inside either cabin. Smoking
is permitted outside, but please clean up your butts.
Can you swim in Little Spider Lake?
While there are no lifeguards on duty, Little Spider Lake is a great place to swim.
Swim at your own risk.
What is Little Spider Lake like?
Little Spider Lake is a quiet 236 acre lake.
It is home to musky, northern, walleye, perch,
bass, and blue gill. You are able to swim, water ski, jet ski, boat,
tube, fish, canoe, and kayak on Little Spider Lake. Lake Rest Cabins
is located in the south bay of the lake, about 1.5 miles from
the public boat launch.
How far from Minocqua is Lake Rest Cabins?
Lake Rest Cabins is located 5 miles north of
Minocqua just off of the Hwy 51 North and Hwy 70 East stop lights. Lake Rest Cabins is a short
distance (5 minute drive) from grocery stores, gas stations, bait
shops, restaurants, a micro brewery and down town gift shops. Boulder Junction is a
short 10 minute drive north on Cty M off of Hwy 51.
Is there anywhere to rent boats?
A canoe, paddle boat, and aluminum boat with oars are provided
for your use. Call for more rental information.
